Schatzi is a German term of endearment meaning a treasure or a close friend. It’s what Chef Tirzah’s grandmother always called her. Good food is certainly a treasure and is best shared with close friends. The experience of that becomes an unforgettable moment in time.
At Schatzi Kitchen, we create more of those moments. We believe hospitality is all about how someone is made to feel. To delight and take care of you and your guests, we curate the experience based on your preferences. We offer a complete private chef service; everything from the food and professional service to beverage-pairings, setup and cleanup.
The Style
We combine the best of both worlds and bring it to you: an upscale, adventurous restaurant with a casual, familiar eatery. Our vibe is inspired by the elegant bistros of Paris, the energetic tapas bars in Madrid, and a soulful grandmother’s kitchen.

We specialize in Americana cuisine. Regional American classics and seasonal favorites taken to the next level. These are unique, special dishes with influences from around the world because Americans are from everywhere.
The Source
At Schatzi Kitchen we use only high-quality ingredients with a focus on fresh, seasonal produce from nearby farmers’ markets; humanely raised meats and poultry from local, family-owned farms; and sustainable seafood. After working in New York kitchens for over a decade, Chef Tirzah has fostered connections with many local purveyors, butchers, and fishmongers. To honor these connections, we cook from scratch and waste nothing.
The Menu
